Born in Denmark, Verner Panton was considered to be the master of fluid, futuristic style of the 1960's design which introduced the Pop aesthetic to furniture and interiors. Panton's passion lay in plastics and other man-made materials to create vibrant colors in geometric forms of Pop Art. Some of Verner's most notable pieces include the Cone Chair and the Panton S Chair.
